Ed boon was at last year event and we didn’t get a major announcement then. Ed Boon being at the event shows that we might get news but nothing a s big as announcement for nether realm next project. The one down side here is that this is a maybe. As such many are thinking this will be the perfect place to announce a new Injustice 3 game. So, as always take everything discussed above with a large pinch of salt until more information is revealed officially.Īt the time of writing, all of the parties mentioned above, – Marvel, WB Games, or NetherRealm Studios – are yet to comment on this recent report.Ĭheck out our review for Injustice 2 here.You might notice Injustice 3 is trending on twitter? I mean nothing been announced on it so why? The reason for this is due to DC Fandom and the fact that once again we have Ed Boon being at this year event. In the meantime, all that we have to go on is this new report and pure speculation. #Will injustice 3 happen series
It is the 3rd main installment in the main series and will be released in Early April 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XS, PC, Steam, & Nintendo Switch. It is being developed by Netherrealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. It really depends on how far along the Marvel game is in its development cycle. There is of course, the chance that we could see this new Marvel based fighting game revealed before the next Injustice game.
However, Richtman does claim that development has already started on the game for next-gen consoles, (meaning the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S.) It should be stated that this recent report from Daniel Richtman from Stealth Optional is rather light on any sort of specific details. With Injustice 3, Black Canary could be expanded upon, even more, be given a bigger role similar to her role in the Injustice comics. There is no reason that this couldn’t still happen, because of this rumour, but it seems like after they complete their Injustice trilogy, NRS could be making the leap from DC to Marvel. It is currently being heavy rumoured in the videogame industry that at E3 2021, NetherRealm will reveal Injustice 3, with the game releasing later in year. p>The Injustice series is beloved by DC and fighting game fans alike for its great use of DC Comics superheroes to create not only a unique and interesting story within the universe, but solid fighting games as well. This would be the first straight-up Marvel fighting game since Marvel vs.
